Great place - Robert, the owner, spoke with me at length to understand my issues. He ran some tests on the vehicle, made some suggestions and we went from there. Very thorough, knowledgeable and courteous and not eager to spend your money. More than that, he took enough time to address some ancillary factors that I had overlooked. Just some a/c work, but the attitude and demeanor of the owner spoke volumes. Even if it's just an oil change, this is the place to have it done -

10 stars!! My husband was traveling thru weatherfor, in bad weather, and with a dog. His drive shaft broke. It was almost closing time before a holiday weekend with freezing weather and they got him in, with a great attitude, let him keep the dog in their offices. Fixed it fast and got him back on the road. It could have been an awful situation with him stranded there. So grateful they were so awesome!!!

So a couple months ago we were headed home from Frankston and started hearing a weird sound coming from somewhere under our truck. Fearing the worst and not wanting to ruin our engine somehow, we stopped in Weatherford and rented a room(it was already late and getting dark) The next morning we googled repair shops and found The Pit Stop! These people were FRICKING AWESOME..took them no time to find the culprit..which is pictured below👇🤣😂 it was in the Tread of our tire...Thank you Again So much guys, Yall are the G.O.A.T.'s!

5 stars is not enough of a rating. I've always been wary of mechanics but I would/will take my cars there from now on. Vanessa, Robert and everyone have been nothing short of a blessing for us when our turbo decided to stop working. SUPER friendly, great quality work and worked with me through everything. After reading the Reviews , I contacted this Shop about my Car situation and the Staff is very Nice. I met in person with the Owner, Pierce and Vanessa and I told them how I have been to a lot of Shops and felt like I wasn’t getting No where. The Owner took time out to look at my Car with his Mechanics and they did it with a Smile. So I understand Why this Business has good Reviews. Excellent communication and service!!! The work was exceptional. I bought a used car for my daughter and on the way home it started acting like it was in limp mode. Next test drove it kicked the bucket! The Pit Stop was honest about what was wrong and needed to be fixed and checked in with what I wanted to be done or not. Cost of the repairs was better than what I thought it would be especially with a German little car. They were spot on with the timeline of getting the parts and repairs. They even warranty the parts. Beep Beep now runs great and has cold air. Very Happy!!!

Had a wheel bearing break while I was driving from Arlington to possum kingdom. Towing company in the area suggested this place. They helped me get back on the road quickly, and they were very friendly. The owner also seemed very honest with everyone who came in while I was sitting in the office.

These guys are the best! I broke down in Weatherford at 3:30 on a Friday in the middle of a road trip. I called them while waiting for a tow truck and they told me to bring it to them. They were so nice in an extremely stressful situation, they replaced my battery and alternator and have me back on the road before 4:45 with a fully packed shop. I wish I lived in Weatherford so I could use them permanently as my auto shop!

The Pit Stop auto repair shop on First St in Weatherford TX I brought my 2020 Chevy Equinox to the Pit Stop due to a Check Engine light and Reduced Power Mode alert that popped up one day. They are very courteous and professional. They replaced a turbo actuator and sensor. Their prices are fair and a good reasonable turn around time. After driving it all day, the issue did pop up again and I had to return it. They found an additional issue with some hoses and replaced them at no cost. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to this mechanic.

I had my son’s truck for the day and noticed the AC wasn’t blowing cold like it should. Robert and crew were awesome enough to get me in to look at it and went above and beyond what I was expecting. Especially since I was a walk in at 3:00 on a Friday (and like most other shops, they were busy busy) I really appreciated them finding a way to get me in, the work they did to correct the issue and the genuine “good guy” attitude and shop atmosphere. If you are looking for a good shop for your needs. I’d would have to say this one should be in your list of places to call. I’ll be returning for sure, when needed.

My check engine light had come on and I needed a diagnosis of what the issue might be. I called and talked to Vanessa, the office manager, and she explained their process. She said they will diagnose the problem, for free, and they will get back to me with an estimate. I made an appointment this morning and they got it all fixed by 2pm the same day. I can’t say enough good things about Vanessa and the Pit Stop. They are very reasonable and fast!! They treat their customers like VIP’s. This is our go to auto repair place from now on 😊.

These guys are great. We’ve taken our car here several times over the last few years with replacing motor mounts to servicing our AC. Good honest guys that do a thorough job at a decent price. Owner is a nice guy as well (retired fire fighter actually). Most definitely recommend!

We were traveling during a heat advisory from Terlingua TX to NC along route 20 when our AC broke. We were desperate. Most places I called told us they were weeks out. Pit Stop told us to come on in and he'd make us a priority.

Robert and his team are fantastic. He always finds a way to save the customer as much money as he can. He has been working on my 20-year old car for over a decade, and kept it running this whole time. My car recently needed work and after the repair, it threw 53 codes in an electrical error. I brought it back immediately and Robert fixed it at no extra charge AND gave me a full tank of gas. I definitely recommend Pit Stop for ANY make and model of car, but especially for German vehicles. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Thanks so much, Robert!!

I went in for a diagnostics because I had a leak. It turns out my radiator needed to be replaced. Robert ordered the part same day, gave me the price upfront, and I was back in my car the next morning! I’m blown away by their efficiency, transparency and helpfulness. Turn signal went out on a ‘21 Cheep Grand Cherokee. Bulb replacement did not fix the problem, so called 5+ shops to only be told they wouldn’t be able to look at it to diagnose it for 5 or more days after we dropped it off. The Pit Stop got it us in the next day, repaired and picked up same day! Unfortunately the turn signal stopped working again that weekend, so I went back and talked to them about it. No worries, they get it in first thing the next morning and repaired before lunch. It’s now been 2 plus weeks since then and we’ve had no issues whatsoever. Honest, reasonable, trustworthy individuals over at The Pit Stop!
